Crunchyroll Games has announced RWBY: Crystal Quest, a match-3 puzzle game based on the RWBY Chibi animation series.
Players will chose from RWBY team members, Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang to battle other players. Other characters from the animated series Nora and Cinder are featured in screenshots from Crunchyroll.
Not much else has been revealed about the game but if it’s anything like other match-3 games, each character will have unique abilities and powers that charge by matching different color combinations. Given the wide range of characters and abilities shown in the show, Crunchyroll Games will have a lot to work with.
RWBY: Crystal Quest is slated for release late summer 2019 with open pre-registration available now.
