Sony Finally Allows Users to Change PSN Name

Sony has announced that PlayStation 4 owners can finally change their PSN usernames, a feature that was in beta testing last year.

The first change is free, but users who wish to change again afterwards will have to pay $9.99 USD. For PlayStation Plus members, the cost for additional changes is discounted to $4.99 USD.

All games published after April 1 will feature the new online ID with one exception. Games published before the update have the potential for issues, some critically so and not all games will support the new usernames.
